True, but I do have to admit that I like the change from the original myth in regards to Perseus and him borrowing Nike’s flying shoes (IIRC). Getting Pegasus was much better and I think it translates better on film.

Actually, the original title of the 1981 film was supposed to be Perseus and the Gorgon’s Head. “Clash of the Titans” was the later, punchier title.
It IS punchier, but, on a technical note, there really aren’t any of the Greek mythology Titans in either version.
By the way, the reviews are starting to be posted on Rotten Tomatoes. Only 18% rating (but only 13 reviews so far):
