Classical Music Question

Okay, this is going to sound really stupid, but does anyone know what music is played on the Baby Einstein Play-A-Song book What Do Fish Do? I’m specifically looking for the frog button song, but if someone can tell me all five that would be great too.

For those that don’t have access to the book, I know it’s either Mozart, Bach, or Beethoven. It sounds like a old piano (fuzzier than a modern piano - if that makes any sense). This is silly of me, but the tune goes something like this:

Bum Bum Bum Bum Badela Bum. Then a whole series of scales up and down followed by: Bum Bum-da-Bum!

I’m know I’m being vague, but I can’t help it.

It’s not on the Baby Einstein: Baby Mozart album.

Probably Mozart Sonata in C major, K. 545. http://www.bing.com/videos/watch/video/sviatoslav-richter-plays-mozart-sonata-in-c-major-k-545/d3eb672f2a6a6ac478c1d3eb672f2a6a6ac478c1-56143774149

It’s one of his most popular pieces. A version of it shows up in Looney Tunes.

Love this place. Elapsed time to correct answer:11 minutes.

Thanks rowrrbazzle!

While I’m on the subject, would it have killed the Baby Einstein to acknowledge the friggin music in their damn book?

Some people feel no obligation to make acknowledgments of works that are out of copyright. The section is done out of legal necessity only.

Yeah, I know. But one of BE’s early selling points was that exposure to classical music would make your kid smarter. Therefore, why not add a couple of lines on the inside cover to give parent’s a clue about where to find complete pieces/more stuff from a composer their kid liked?

Especially since it turns out I was wrong and K545 is on the Baby Mozart CD (the Amazon sample is a much less distinctive part of the Sonata and that threw me). A simple “You can find the music in this book on our Baby Mozart, Baby Beethooven, etc CDs.”
