The title says it all, except that it looks as though she’ll be a recurring character ohboyohboyohboy and I’m nevernevernever gonna miss an episode again.
Are you, perhaps, lagging a bit in your viewing of Stargate? She’s had a recurring part for some time, and has appeared in 11 episodes so far, including the cliffhanger at the end of last season. Or is this about something new?
Shoot! You mean I’ve been missing this for some time? Rats. I’ve got to start watching TV more regularly.
Perhaps, he, like me, sees the syndicated reruns a year after the original cable release.
That’s why I asked if his viewing lagged behind release for some reason. Regardless, both Claudia Black and Ben Browder now have recurring roles on the show. This started with “Avalon” (July 15, 2005), although Black’s character was introduced much earlier (“Prometheus Unbound”, January 28, 2005).
She is joining the main cast next year, but has been on before(as others have pointed out).
If Anthony Simcoe and Gigi Edgley join, I might just tune in regularly.
Why in the world did they ever cancel Farscape?
I see it on Fox (which is the only channel we get  ) --does that lag the real world?
I also see it on Fox in syndication. “Prometheus Unbound” ran last weekend (for the second time, it ran earlier this year)
According to IMDB, that is season 8. and Avalon is season 9.
Dunno if season 9 is in syndication yet (I’m guessing not, since it is the current season)
Brian
Season Nine just finished about two weeks ago, so I’m guessing no.
Claudia’s joining the SG:1 cast as a full-fledged cast member…apparently has some big stuff coming up next year:D. I’m excited.
I’m still hoping for Rygel to make his way over;).
E.
Agreed, they need to sign Gigi Edgely, Anthony Simcoe, Virginia Hey as members of SG-1, Wayne Pygram and Lani Tupu can be Goau’ld and To’Kras, Paul Goddard can reprise his role as “annoying insane person”…
and we can get Brian Henson and David Kemper to direct…
I can’t answer that one. I also can’t answer the question of why SG-1 is still in production. The end of that last episode of some past season (what was it, two seasons ago?) where the blonde scientists an McGuyver finally get it on seemed an awful lot like The End to me. I hadn’t really watched the show in like two years, so I couldn’t tell if there was much of a story to be told past that episode or not. Since they guy finally got the girl, I figured that simply had to be the series finale. But no.
I started a thread about this almost a year ago, it seems like. I was channel surfing while working out, saw the Farscape people on SG-1 and was like: “The Hell?” I really, honestly thought at first they were doing one of those crossover things, like when Laverne and Shirley would pop in on an episode of Happy Days. Speaking of Happy Days, how far over the shark has a show been hurled when it’s cannibalizing the cast of a cancelled series?
