I have a stain on one of the leather seats in my car. I have no idea what it is or how it got there, but it won’t come off with warm water & a soft cloth. What are some decent products that will work on this. I’ve never had a stain like this on auto leather. It seems to be really ground in, which is odd because 99.99% of the time I’m the only one in this car and the stain is on the passenger side.
Good furniture stores that sell leather furniture a good place to find leather cleaners. Let leather dry natural no hairdryers, etc. Most spots I have run into come out expect a spot of blood a hard one. There is something to remove ink too. If anyone knows how to remove a spot of blood from leather please reply.
I use saddle soap (get it anywhere you can get shoe polish), and also a cleaner for car leather. Both prevent drying out the leather. Stained leather is problematic because it’s porous.
Armor-All makes a cleaner for leather that comes in wipes; it actually works very well but don’t scrub too hard as it will sometimes take the dye out of cheaper leather.
Use saddle soap and then follow up with a product called Hide Food
The saddle soap cleans, the Hide Food conditions.
You should be able to get Hide Food from many auto parts stores, or a new car dealer’s parts department.
