Clearing my stuff – an MMP give-away, sorta

No, I just hate puns. But I knew that everyone else here likes 'em, so I thought I’d share what someone had sent me this morning. I chopped out a couple that were just too labored to be effective.

Like I said a rew weeks ago, physicists telling puns is something I had to go through for a year in high school. Scarred me for life, I tell ya!

Good plan. I just saw a show on TV about a house that’s been destroyed by a sweetgum tree. In their unstoppable quest for water, the roots have gone under the slab foundation and shattered it.

I haven’t read beyond your post yet, but I believe you were referring to Exgineer with your first question. If someone else answered, oh well…

Now, regarding wheels. Yes, used ones can be had, but depending upon the area and the wheel, they may not stay on the market for long. Here’s one link - I’m sure there are more.

I bought my wheel and kiln here, and their sale is still going on. I got the Brent CXC and with shipping included, it was just over $1K because of the sale. It’s the same one my teacher uses, and I’m pleased with it. We use Creative Industries wheels at class, and they’re not bad. You now know all I know about wheels.

TGIF. That’s all I’ve got for now.

Oh, no, no, no, rosie!!! The “nevermind” was because I was asking who was gonna do it and you had already posted that you would. Next time I’ll quote myself.

I just thought of what my MMP will contain - the tale of the vampire spice rack
I left work at 1pm - full of energy, drove, windows open, to the salon to get prettied, still wired. then, while in the chair, I hit the wall - I could so sleep right thru til Sunday, but I won’t. Gonna change outfits, gather my stuff and scoot within the half hour. It’s gonna be great - we should turn a very pretty profit tonight (excuse me - accumulate operating funds - we’re a not-for-profit group  ) I’ll have pics and stories tomorrow

Exgineer hasn’t been around in quite a while. welby, have you heard from him?

I’m tired.

I essentially goofed off all day, came home, walked back to da fest with da wife, came home, vacuumed the place now I gotta shower then take the kid to the DCI show tonight.

I have a necktie pact with a friend, but no zombie or vampire pact.

The necktie pact says that if his wife tries to bury him wearing a tie, I am to cut off of him at the wake/funeral.

Not nearly as exciting as a zombie pact.

mmmmmm - rotissed chickie for dinner - yummerrific! While it was rotissing, I made tomorrow’s breakfast - peach french toast casserole. It’s got to sit overnight, soaking up the egg and milk mixture, then I’ll bake it in the morning. Almost can’t wait to get up!!

FCD took the day off, and he built my glaze table, mostly. He’s got to assemble the drawers and put the laminate on the top. While he finishes that tomorrow, I’ll be painting the last of the blocks and installing the drywall. I don’t know if we’ll get the studio done this weekend, but we’ll be close. So by next weekend, I should be ready to throw.

Except my nephew will be here from Thurs night till July 3, so I don’t think I’ll be doing a lot of ceramics till he’s gone. Which is fine. No really, I don’t mind. Really. I like the idea of entertaining a 12-year-old boy for a week and a half. Really…

Seriously, I’m looking forward to having the time with Robert. I may even teach him to throw.

And speaking of ceramics - any more interested souls? I’ve only gotten about 10 requests - don’t be shy, folks!

I miss Exgineer, too.

Last I heard from Ex, he’d gotten a promotion and was now one of TPTB, which wasn’t leaving him much time to post during the day. I’ve been wondering about him too. I hope everything’s ok with him and with angelpant’s MS.

In other news, looks like it’s an ACBGless weekend for me. :frowning: :frowning: :frowning:

Oh and I’ve had several beers. It’s a wonder I’m not tpygni leki tish.

I don’t like the puns either, **Sean, ** but Spats is sorta cute so he can get away with them…for a little while, anyway.

I got a vegetarian cookbook in the mail today. The recipes sound so good, I gave serious consideration to eating the book.

Careful Tel, your unnamed beau might get jealous.

Hey, you know, the puns suck but I sure do appreciate Spats’ effort! He’s trying to entertain us. (Trying being the operative word). He just cares about us, even if he severely misguided.

…I’m not helping here, am I Spats?

Happy Friday! IANAE*
taters, Maggie the Wonderbeagle eats flies(and floating dust specks)
MBG what if you have to cut the necktie off your friend’s zombie?
I saw something odd today. There was a car in the Kroger parking lot with a Jesus Fish and a Flying Spaghetti Monster Fish.

[sub][sub]* I Am Not An Engineer[/sub][/sub]

Not terribly, no. Nine out of ten for effort though.

I do love you though.

I am not an engineer either.

Well, I’m sort of an engineer. One of my jobs is domestic engineer. :stuck_out_tongue:

My real job is Health Systems Analyst. Doesn’t that sound exciting?

Heh. Well, The Boy Toy (henceforth known as TBT) doesn’t know and he’s not going to find out about my Friends in the Computer. So I can call you cute all I want, neener neener.

If you’ve allowing double requests yet I’d love to have the voltive candle holder as well as the lidded pot I requested.
I’m just sayin’…

Hello.

Good bye.*

*I feel like the dog with the great big hat in the book, Go, Dogs, Go! …too busy to stop. Work tomorrow–see you all Monday.

And I love the puns.

No death pacts here, but definetly food for thought.
