I was wondering if the use of metal cleats are allowed in the game of softball as in baseball? If they are can someone give me a web address or something of proof stating this out that they can be worn.
Having just returned from playing our first game of the season, our league (Mens slow pitch) doesn’t allow metal spikes. However I think it’s up to the individual league rules. BTW we won 25-8 waahooooo 
I play for several teams (men’s slow pitch), most of which aren’t that serious. It is up to the individual league or tournament to allow or ban metal cleats. For example, my Tuesday league allows them, my Thursday league does not. I’ve also played in tournaments that allow them, and tournaments that don’t. I’d say as a rule of thumb that the more serious or competitive leagues/tourneys allow them, while the more casual ones don’t. This rule isn’t 100% accurate at all times though.
