I think this may have been some sort of bye week trolling by John Dorsey to entertain himself.
I was thinking the same thing. She has administrative experience in college sports but coaching is another matter.
I know it’s just the Bungles, but 28-0 is a monster score for the Browns right now.
They certainly did prove that the Bengals weren’t going to continue the streak, even by hiring the Browns’ former coach.
They’ve been talking about hiring Condi as the NFL commish for years and years. And she’s a Brownsfan. It’s a natural fit.
I think what you said here has gone a long way to being proved. Especially with their old HC a member of the coaching staff of the other team.
Two touchdowns from Nick Chubb. This, folks, is why I was so delighted to when the Browns drafted him; I’ve even watching him for four years at Georgia, and knew what a playmaker he is.
The Browns have some good young talent. With the right coaching I could see them having a winning season next year and maybe a playoff appearance in a year or two if they build around Mayfield and Chubb.
Seems to me the Browns really only need a couple more weapons for Mayfield to throw to…a true legit #1 WR and maybe a badass TE. Is their oline any good since Thomas retired?
Interior is fine, tackles need work although have been improved lately.
I wonder if they could get a legit #1 WR by not trading him for scraps a couple of months ago.
Njoku is infuriatingly inconsistent so far, but he shows flashes of true brilliance. If I were in charge I’d stand pat at TE next year and reassess during the 2020 draft.
Well, yeah. I know you didn’t like trading Gordon away. And of course, it isn’t like elite WR talent like the very best have grows on trees. Which of course is why they put up with him for so long.
That whole thing did seem odd, timing-wise. You put up with all of that only to trade him for a bag of snowglobes and footballs now? Makes me wonder if the stories about Gordon being habitually late to meetings or not bothering to show up are true.
And that is why I love AJ Green. Other than the blowup with Jalen Ramsey, he’s been nothing but the consummate professional. And he’s consistently very, very good, and doesn’t celebrate. A quick shoulder shake is usually all the emotion you get out of that guy.
Apparently Baker Mayfield has free reign to say dumb things, because he’s The Man, and Browns’ offensive coordinator Freddie Kitchens “has his back”.
Freddie, this song’s for you. ![]()
Well, it was a long shot to run the table and have a shot at the playoffs.
After Mayfield had a poor first half, he responded by going 350 yards on 24-30 in the second half, which is promising in terms of mental fortitude and correcting your own mistakes.
Don’t be so down. The Browns still have a good shot at finishing 3rd in the division. My team just blows donkey dorks.
Hmm… McCarthy is now unemployed, do you think he could take over the reins for the Browns?
Hey, don’t take my head coach! Here, have Hue Jackson back!

Not that I generally put much (if any) stock in what the talking heads on NFL pre-game and post-game shows say, but that was the topic of conversation on the Fox post-game show last night, which went to air just as the McCarthy news broke.
They pointed out that Dorsey had been in the Packers’ front office (Director of College Scouting, then Director of Football Operations) for much of McCarthy’s time in Green Bay. I have no idea how close the two of them actually are, however.
Would you actually want him? Reportedly, Rodgers can’t stand him. That’s not a good sign that he’s the guy you want to be in charge of your new franchise QB in Cleveland.
