Clinton body count

Lot’s of people with connections to Bill Clinton have died, often under suspicious circumstances. Snopes says this is just another Urban Legend:

http://www.snopes.com/spoons/faxlore/clinton.htm

However, these sites claim the ‘Clinton body count’ or ‘Clinton death list’ is not just urban legend:

http://www.ccnet.com/~suntzu75/bodycnt.htm

Also, Clinton’s dad, William Jefferson Blythe, died in a car crash three months before Bill was born. (It started while Bill was still in the womb!) His step-dad, Roger Clinton, died but I don’t know how or when. Bill’s mother, Virginia Kelly, died in 1994. Strangely, I can’t find any info on the web about her cause of death. Also, SNL comedian Phil Hartman and his wife were killed, supposedly by her. Hartman portrayed Clinton on SNL.

What do you think of the Clinton body count?

I think that snopes is too kind in its treatment of the loonies who buy into this drek.

Virginia Kelly had succumbed to breast cancer.

IIRC, she survived all (5, maybe?) her various husbands.

A similar list was compiled relating to a number of people who died “mysteriously” after JFK’s assassination.

It is equally credible.

If I had a comedian mocking me on SNL, I, too, would try to have the comedian murdered by his/her spouse.

I personally think that the Clinton body count could probably be duplicated with many any figures in the public eye that are of the same age.

I find Snopes to be infinitely more reliable than any of the links in the OP.

But then, I must just be a commie radical-left Clinton lover.

'Least, that’s what Rush and Gordon Liddy say.

I’ve recently learned that fully 100% of all people who have ever met Abraham Lincoln or who were involved in the investigation of his assination are DEAD! I think further investigation is warranted.

Cute, in a lame way, Freedom. What’s your point?

I hate to break this to you, but people die. And what exactly are you trying to suggest with his father dying before he was born? Are you implying something by that? I really want to know what you meant by that.

So sorry to ofend you andros…

I figured this thread may be the only chance I have to put that .gif and have it fit with the op.

Since I’m never one to miss an opportunity…

I’ll admit that when I first read the OP I thought it was saying Virginia Kelly killed Phil Hartman. Now that’s conspiracy thinking.

As for the Clinton death list, of course it’s real. How else do you explain the all too convenient deaths of noted Clinton enemies like Dick Armory, Al D’Amato, Gennifer Flowers, Newt Gingrich, Arianna Huffington, Paula Jones, Joe Klein, Monica Lewinsky, G. Gordon Liddy, Rush Limbaugh, James Moody, Alfred Regnery, Richard Scaife, Kenneth Starr, Linda Tripp, and Paul Weyrich.

Freedom, you may have found the one Smiley Chief Scott would approve of.

Sorry, this doesn’t address the OP.

'Fess up Freedom: How’d you do the smiley?

“Always searching for one more piece of useless trivia to clutter my brain with.”

Oh, no offense taken at all, Freedom. I just wasn’t sure what if anything you were trying to say by it. Very cool gif.

krish, he’s not trying to say anything. He’s spouting some anti-Clinton conspiracy rhetoric, which he obvi9ously chooses to take at face value instead of thinking critically. So be it. Doesn’t seem he’s coming back to defend himself anyway (hint-hint, Cheesehead).

It’s not like me to be so forthcoming, but I might as well share it before someone else posts it…

http://forum.arstechnica.com/forum/ubb/smileyshot2.gif

is:

Except you use the brackets.

Since I am in the mood to share, there are two other way to figure it out .

You can click on the edit button and look at the original code in the post. I think the quote from post button worls also.

Or you can use your right mouse button and view source. Just scroll down until you find the code for it.

That’s all I can take. I’m going back to being ornery now.

That should have been;

{ img } http://forum.arstechnica.com/forum/ubb/smileyshot2.gif {img }
If that didn’t work as an example, it is the address above, surrounded by an image tag, done just like a bold tag, except with the letters IMG in the brackets.

Freedom…

One does hope that’s on your space and you aren’t stealing bandwidth from someone else.

Go ahead flame me! Been there done that!

Looks to the left after this posts.

I think that the best evidence we have that this is not true is that even I don’t believe it.

Krispy Original – The original SDMB bad boy

Good one Krispy! I’m posting this in The Gems.

krish: “And what exactly are you trying to suggest with his father dying before he was born? Are you implying something by that? I really want to know what you meant by that.”

andros: “krish, he’s not trying to say anything. He’s spouting some anti-Clinton conspiracy rhetoric, which he obviously chooses to take at face value instead of thinking critically. So be it. Doesn’t seem he’s coming back to defend himself anyway (hint-hint, Cheesehead).”

I have nothing to defend because I didn’t take a stance. I merely brought up a topic for debate and discussion.

I mentioned Bill’s father dying just as an aside. Of course, Bill the fetus could not have anything to do with his dad’s death. Someone besides Bill could, though. However, the conspiracy theory mainly involves people who died since Bill became President.
