Ever read Animal Farm? Trump reminds me an awful lot of Napoleon (his lies shall not be questioned, comrades), who was in turn modelled on Stalin. I’m watching his slamming of “phony accusers” as I write this, and the NC crowd really reminds me of the animals cheering Napoleon on.

From reading your summary, it sounded like you thought the Senate was involved in the vote for the President.

In the no-EV-majority scenario, the Senate selects a Vice President, who becomes the President if there is no state-delegation majority in the House for a President. So it is conceivable that factions in the House and Senate could work together to engineer the selection of one of the top two VP candidates, as the ultimate President.

What are you talking about? Her accusation that Saudi Arabia and Qatar are funding ISIL or her saying terrorism is “not a threat to us as a nation. It is not going to endanger our economy or our society, but it is a real threat."?

Yep. Last time he pulled this, it was phrased just so he could get away with it (“Look at her”)

This time, there is no walking this back. He just tried “She was not good looking enough for me to grope. I only grope the best”
