Well, they have the Ryan budget with its magic asterisks, which I think we can assume Trump would sign if Congress passed it.
But other than that and the Supreme Court, you’re right, and this is the GOP’s deep underlying problem: during the Obama years, they’ve become a post-policy party, opposing everything the Dems have to offer, but not really having any alternatives.
The Trump statue was up up for quite awhile. Ive seen it mentioned many times in the news. I wasn’t sure if it had been removed or not.
Hillary’s statue was damaged and broken within hours. That’s Pathetic.
Intolerance always disturbs me. Freedom of expression is too important. Both statues were satirical expressions of public figures and deserved respect.
As always, the devil’s in the details. New York had an epic response to the statue:
They removed the statue after this Trump burn, same day it was put up.
Of course, you’re free to make wild accusations of hypocrisy when you haven’t bothered to even look at the evidence to see whether they’re founded, but you may wish to reconsider this tactic.
Your “afaik” would carry more weight if you had bothered reading to the bottom of your linked article:
Don’t think it was up for more than a day. NYC Parks & Recreation take a dim view of people deciding on their own what statues should be placed on display.
So wait- the government took down the Trump statue immediately, but citizens tore down the Hillary statue. So whose First Amendment rights were you bemoaning?
But it’s a really interesting metaphor for the Trump campaign. You were very willing to start yelling out charges of liberal hypocrisy despite the fact that it required exactly 12 seconds of very simple verification to show that your claims had no basis.
