Late add: Should’ve read Dole’s wiki past the intro. He’s backing Trump after his endorsements for first Jeb! then Rubio proved fruitless. Wow.
Color me amazed. Or perhaps he’s lost more marbles than wiki is letting on.

As it turns out, the New Yorker had a long profile of her just a couple of weeks ago:
I predict she won’t be with Trump on election night. She’ll claim she’s… giving birth, or something.
Dole is the only GOP nominee for president who is backing Trump. Kind of a breakdown.
There is a PBS show called To the Contrary that has a political panel discussion format (along with filmed reported pieces) featuring an entirely female panel. It started in the early '90s and still has the same host; I started watching regularly in the late '90s until about seven or eight years ago when I stopped paying for cable or satellite. Researching it just now I discovered that they stream episodes online, so I may have to go back to watching it regularly if I can find time.
Anyway, the point is that Kellyanne Conway was on that panel extremely regularly. I wouldn’t be surprised if she was on it hundreds of times. Scores of appearances at the very least. I always found her a little annoying because she spun so hard for the right, but she certainly came across as intelligent and informed.
Is this a joke? If so, it is subtler than the other one upthread about some kind of insanely advanced approximation technique.
Huh, that’s surprising because 43 is prime; and a multiplication problem with any even numbers in it always creates an even product. (I realize that sounds really snotty, like I’m saying “duh” or something; so I will own up to a brain fart of my own as compensation: when Gary Johnson had his “Aleppo moment”, I didn’t know what it referred to either.)
Yes! One of my people. :high five:
That works too.
I was not previously familiar with him, but this column makes me absolutely willing to believe you.
We all know how wonderful Breitbart was/is. Now they are saying a particular celebrity has offered a special service for Hillary votes.
Sigh. Or yawn. Or something.
Reinhard Heydrich was amused to receive this text from the Trump campaign today.
Hi, it’s Ivanka. Before my father gets on stage TONIGHT, I’m handing him a list of his TOP supporters. Contribute $1 to be on the list.
So all one has to do is donate $1 to the campaign to be a TOP supporter?
I’m already on planning on voting for Clinton. Can I still have one?
All those previous supporters asking for their money back must have really thrown their finances for a loop.
Never underestimate the value of forty years of practice.
Can you actually do that? Can you ask a candidate for a refund?
I suspect she will have her yoga instructor help teach the DIY method.
You can ask.
If you look at the FEC records, you see refunds all the time. Sometimes people go over their limits and some $ has to be refunded, sometimes the money is from unwanted sources, and, I’m sure, some come from requests.
Man, that one was the worst debate yet. Wallace made no attempt to keep it under control, and kept calling it “open answer” or something like that.
A GOP think tank says Trump would be significantly worse for the Federal debt than Hillary: GOP think tank: Trump's plans would just run up debt
Dear GOP, this candidate is defective and did not meet my expectations. Please provide a full refund.
The 3rd debate is over and although I know that this thread is populated by people intensely interested in politics, I feel certain that this story has not gotten the attention it deserves.[

The media is going nuts over Trump refusing to endorse the election results. Who gives a fuck what Trump says post election?
Isn’t conceding to the winner a courtesy? Basic decorum and etiquette? The results aren’t dependant on the loser actually conceding, are they?
I’m assuming a big victory for Hillary. If we have another close election like Bush/Gore then what Trump says matters. He could force recounts in close states. Challenge voter roles.
The press will need to use their right of discretion after the election. Every word that pours from the loser’s mouth isn’t newsworthy forever. Give Trump a couple weeks to whine and cry. Let him have his say. Then ignore him. The press decides every day which stories are worth covering. The National press has no obligation to cover Trump. Let the tabloids get in the mud with him. Trump can cry on twitter.
True, but,
Accepting the results of an election is the fundamental civic duty of a citizen in a democratic society based on the rule of law. It’s what separate real countries from bullshit ones, and for a Presidential candidate to refuse to accept that is equal to him saying he doesn’t give a shit if Japan invades and occupies Hawaii. If you don’t like the country, why the hell are you running for President?
When he loses, there will still be 55 million people who voted for him, and “this election was rigged!” could cause serious violence.
