The big loser in this election is the Libertarian Party. If they had actually nominated somebody decent, they might have been in this thing. And also wouldn’t be terribly shocked if 1 year from now this election turned out to have really been a Pence or Kaine election. I could see either Trump or Clinton gone from the White House.
I don’t get this argument. They could be three emails saying they need to bleachbit the server because the FBI is on to them, or something else. It’s silly to conclude that you know if the emails are significant based on who wrote them or how many there are.
Hopefully Comey will clear it up soon.

Yes, the timing seems suspicious. Could well be a non-issue like the other 33,000 e-mails. The only ones that seem to have an impact are the ones Wikileaks “finds.” Personally I’d have a problem with the integrity of someone who steals other people’s e-mails.

With the Bundy acquittals, this has been awhat-the-fuck week.

It’s been reported that the recovered emails were not originally withheld by Clinton nor were they sent from her account. I think, had this story broken a few days before the election, it would have had the potential to do damage. As it is, I think the pieces will fall back to earth in time for most people to see it for the damp squib it is.
I wonder if the emails have anything to do with Huma Abedin.
And breaking on a Friday. Has that pendulum swung? Once, Friday’s were news-dump graveyards; now they’re social media field days.
It occurs to me that if the Clinton people were the least bit worried about what might be in these emails, they wouldn’t be screaming for Comey to show us what he’s got. I think they know it’s nothing, and they want to get this new “scandal” over with.
This is apparently connected to the Wiener investigation which only started about a month or so ago. What timing would not seem suspicious to you?
