Reading through the lawsuit itself, they also appear to be … let’s say “not quite the best” … at writing. Is it common for lawsuits to have spelling and grammatical errors?
The Republican-controlled Senate is in session just one day out of three; they don’t do anything but obstruct Obama when they’re there; and some, like Rubio, make it clear that they consider the Senate a mere stepping stone, and could give a shit about attending hearings or casting votes.
Yet they are almost all being re-elected, and in Indiana, a Republican has unseated veteran Evan Bayh. Why are they being rewarded for doing nothing?
Yeah, I was channel surfing and just heard the tail end of the spot about his defeat right before I posted, and I must have heard it wrong. He’s a former senator, but not the incumbent. No excuse.
I’m not accusing anybody of bad faith, just bad judgement.
Tell me, do you think the Senate has been doing a good job under McConnell? Do you think most Republican senators put the country, or their party, first?
Because they secretly like the Washington establishment. Why else would they re-elected nearly all the incumbents? This is a referendum on Hillary, not the Washington elite.
