Paul Begala said a long time ago actually made it a point to tell some of his CNN colleagues a few months ago that the Clinton campaign and Democrats had done their research on Trump, and that his GOP opponents had not. The Clintons had time to see Trump coming, which the GOP opposition did not.
The timing couldn’t be worse for Republicans who only within the past week or two decided to finally throw their support behind Trump. This particular line of attack is something that could not only hurt Trump but the GOP as a whole. It’s the party of creeps as far as I’m concerned.

Yeah. I had noted that there was a dearth of Republicans running from Trump when he looked like he was catching up, as they got scared of being frozen out of a Trump administration. This might be very good for the Senate races where the candidates will have to decide whether to run again or not. If Trump blows it again on Sunday, it will be interesting to see what they do.

For one - it was a non-apology “apology”. “I’m sorry if anyone was offended”. Good God, if you look up “lame-ass pathetic apology designed to piss people off” this is what you see.
Also, his explanation boiled down to “some other guy did it too, Mom!” and “boys will be boys, amiright?”
