You guys must live in protective bubbles if you’ve only heard “a handful” of guys talk like that. Only a few that I know of would say that in mixed company, but among the guys? Lots of guys, all the time. I personally dislike that type of banter, and agree that it’s usually assholes who spout it. There are a lot of assholes out there…

I lived in an all-male dorm 45 years ago, when sexism was still in. We talked a lot about who we’d like to have in our beds. We never talked like this either - and anyone who did would have been ostracized.

I’m sure many guys talk this way, and I’m not surprised by this type of talk, but in among the guys I hang out with, I honestly don’t hear talk like this. I don’t particularly think I live in a protective bubble (I hear guys at bars talk like this occasionally), but I just don’t end up in sex conversations with guys much at all. Or at all, really, and I can’t imagine any of my male friends talking like this.
