Given that Madeleine Albright endorsed Hillary Clinton for President and that Madeleine Albright was the 64th Secretary of State under Bill Clinton, do you think that Albright should reprise her role in a Clinton administration? Why or why not? If not then who should be the 67th Secretary of State if Clinton is elected President.
Okay, all right… I’ll do it. But I’m not moving to Washington.
By the time Clinton’s elected in 2016, Albright will be a bit old for the job.
Richard Holbrooke, the person most directly responsible for ending the Bosnia war, was being mentioned by The Mentioners for that post in both the Gore and Kerry administrations, and still would be a fine choice by any President.
I think this is it for Clinton. Obvious supporters holding out a glimmer of hope like the OP, can surmise Albright would be a good choice, but I don’t see how her experience during the first Clinton administration can translate into a role now in 2008.
Wow. Talk about a moot point. This is like asking who Mitt Romney’s Secretary of State is going to be.
Moot point?
Then you probably didn’t read Memo To The President Elect.
