That doesn’t say “she did it deliberately to avoid FOIA requests”. Trying reading for comprehension next time.
While using a private server does indeed create FOIA issues, there’s nothing besides your own skewed worldview to indicate that she deliberately used the private server to avoid FOIA requests rather than for the more obvious reason that it was convenient, just like Powell did. Absent any evidence, any malign intent inferred is all down to you.
Which “people”? Obama asked for Republican buy-in and was rebuffed. That a couple of partisans on the Huffpost visitor comments may have tried to tell the Republicans to go away is hardly the responsibility of Obama, Pelosi, or Reid, who all tried to get Republican cooperation.
It must be hard to go through life as an imbecile who has absolutely no clue how health care works throughout the civilized world, and, apparently, no clue about anything else, either. You have my sympathies.
Same thing as allows society to dictate a million and one things that affect our collective lives. Like whether people can have an abortion, whether people can have various drugs, whether certain people can marry etc.
He really isn’t trolling. I’ve never seen anything to suggest that Clothy is anything other than sincerely, truly, deeply, idiotically as blindly partisan as he appears to be.
See Clothy, the reason you’re not getting banned for this stupid shit is the same as the reason Clinton isn’t a felon: can’t establish malicious intent. Just stupidity.
“There’s no meaning in existence and I will stand here and reject everything any of you says and demand more while blaming you for being inadequate to my unrealistic demands!”
Actually it’s you who clearly have very limited knowledge of employer run/purchased healthcare.
What you may have been true in the 70s and 80s which is before I was involved in the field, but definitely not in the last couple of decades, what with ERISA and HIPAA. You might want to read up a bit, e.g. here.
All this is, as you might say, “directly false”. I don’t know if there’s a single sentence of this whole quote which is true.
Sorry, but you’re full of it. Democrats were never interested in the other sides opinion. They had a mandate and they wanted to run with it on their own (not that I think that was a mistake. The right wasn’t wild about it in the least, but there were ideas on the right that might have helped… if you think of this in the ‘ok we lost, let’s see how we can contribute or massage this wave to something we all agree on’. Those people, trying that, were told to get lost. Probably the biggest reason not one Republican voted for the matter. Again, more power to you, but don’t act like you grabbed all the ideas out there and wrapped them into a plan. You had a plan you wante and made it into law)
Ah, tighty righty tears! Bitter, yet sweet. Venomous, yet wholesome and nutritious! Please post more, all day, haven’t laughed so hard since they shot Old Yeller!
I pay $150/month health insurance for my family. A few years ago my wife had a serious gall bladder attack. Went to emergency. She was seen within 15 minutes. On pain medication within 30 minutes. Surgery later that day.
The care was excellent. The costs? I did not worry about them at all. But I do know that the costs were much, much lower than in a comparable situation in the US. For example, the drugs, anesthesia etc. that she received is priced much lower, since our entire province is the single purchaser, and gets a great deal.
This same service would have been available to ANY person in the province, rich or poor, based on their emergent MEDICAL needs. We could not buy our way to the front of the line; these decisions were made by medical professionals. This does make some people sad - people who think they are better or more important due to the size of their wallets, and others should get out of their way, even if they die.
We did not see a bill. Everyone involved, from triage nurse to surgeon to suppliers were paid promptly and easily through the single system. No haggling with insurance by anybody at any time. No profit being syphoned off by private company middle managers pushing paper, or shareholders demanding a bigger return on their investment.
We have extra insurance for medications, dental, physio, massage, etc.
Oh, and if I change jobs, I am covered all the same, at the same cost, without having to think about it. And if I decide to form my own small company, or purchase a franchise, or become an entrepreneur, I can do this, be covered in exactly the same way, with no changes.
Thanks, Euphonious Polemic, but I don’t think that’s what our friend wanted. He’s looking only for examples that support his preconceived world view. All other facts will be ignored.
Of course not. You’re way too assured of yourself to think otherwise. It’s why you post five posts to everyone elses one - you’re in love with yourself and everything you say.
