Clothing emergency. What to wear?

I’m going to The Fashion Rocks 2006 awards show as a seatfiller. I was told that the dress code is “nice casual/concert attire (no bright colors or logos)”

To me that sounds like a pair of slacks and nice button down shirt. I don’t know if I’m interpretation that correctly. I’m a large guy and want to look good.
