Clown sings Pinball Wizard to the tune of Folsom Prison Blues

YouTube link

Just thought I’d share. I like the multiple takes after the music.

I’ve been following Puddles for awhile now, ever since I heard his version of “Royals.” Good stuff. My cousin got to see him in Milwaukee a few weeks ago, but, unfortunately I was out of town for the show. Check out his other stuff if you haven’t already.

I was thinking this might be Puddles just from the thread title.

Very clever and a lot of fun.

Thanks for posting.

His version of I Want You to Want Me / Cheap Trick is excellent.

Perfect mashup.

Puddles is awesome.

I’ve never heard of Puddles.

That. Was. Fantastic!

I’ve reported this thread, asking that a mod fix the spelling error in the title. For some reason, my finger automatically presses the ‘e’ key when I try to type ‘Folsom’. :smack:

Puddles rocks! Recommended also Mad World and Dancing Queen.

Yes, two thumbs up.

It actually makes perfect sense. Though the first time through, there’s something ticking my  meter.

I was familiar with Puddles but I’ve spent little time with him. Thanks for strengthening our relationship.

I first encountered Puddles through Postmodern Jukebox, which is a YouTube channel worth checking out.

Yup.

That totally fucking rocked!

I have had the privilege of seeing Puddles live twice. The man is a national treasure and one of the most clever clowns I have seen in a very long time.

Puddles is awesome.

I recently saw PMJ in Pittsburgh. Excellent show!!

Wow. I don’t know what to type. Pretty fucking something. Probably an earworm as a bonus.

As much as I hate clowns, I have to admit this was good. Clowns are still scary though.

That. Rocked!

Ok, WHY is he a clown? What does that add?

Unless he thought he’d never get noticed doing a really cool country cover of Pinball Wizard in the style of Johnny Cash, unless he also dressed as a clown? Tough market!

I mean, take the Mad Wold performance. It has a vaudeville style, a cute singer, and a backing band, and…a clown! Whatever, dudes.

He always dresses as a clown, it’s not just for this video.
