OK, let’s try this again.
My husband related this story to me this afternoon. He got into an elevator with three other people already in it and overheard the following conversation:
Person One: “…making tax-free money.”
Person Two: “What, like dealing drugs?”
Person Three: “Do drug dealers not pay taxes?”
Person Two: “No, they just raise their prices.”
Are you sure he was serious about that?
Personally, if I were a drug dealer, I would pay taxes. Might not work if you make a LOT of money though.
Yeah, he was serious. My husband glanced around expecting to see them smiling and found they weren’t.
