CNN - No longer a news organization II

CNN is currently allowing its Headline News network to be used as a platform for end times propaganda. Glenn Beck has Joel C. Rosenberg on to discuss the how the end times are coming as foretold in the Bible. This not an exploration of the nuttiness of Rosenberg’s misreadings of the Bible, history, and currents events; Beck and Rosenberg are selling this shit.

And this is not the first time:

Much better OP, Two and a Half Inches. I’m glad you resubmitted. (First thread.)

Glenn Beck, hard at work.

Glenn Beck?! Nah, can’t be!

The first time I encountered Glenn Beck was when I was doing cardio at the gym. I don’t remember much about what he was saying, other than it was about how all the founding fathers were Christians and how they modeled the Constitution after the Bible. I was certain the show was a parody. So I grabbed one of the trainers as he walked by and said, “This guy can’t be for real, can he?”

“Of course he’s for real,” he said. “Ain’t he great? He tells it like it is.”

Then I wept.

Actually, the Rapture happened back in 1995.

In all the world, only Madalyn Murray O’Hair was Christian enough to make the cut.

This is CN

Considering what happened to her, “cut” is not in very good taste.

It’s seems that every time I turn on CNN, they are talking about ‘American Idol’.

I honestly remember when CNN Headline News started, in 1983, and we thought it was such a joke because the anchors would flub stuff every fricking time. We’d just watch it and laugh at how badly they did.

Seems it’s like that “broken windows = opening the door for chaos/violence/crime in NYC” theory that worked so well for Giuliani.

The little stuff DOES matter.

You mean to tell me that Russia’s pact with Iran isn’t in the bible? How can that be?
