Coca-Cola Blak

I don’t get the Coca-Cola Company one bit. They have a halfway decent product - namely Coke. I realy think that’s the only one they’ve got right (actually the Zero is passable), but then they go for all these weird variants that nobody seems to like very much, and for years I’ve been hoping they’d put out a Coke more aimed at adults. I was really pleased when I saw the headline on the article in the paper. Finally!

Then I read the article and saw it was Diet Coke (the most horrible drink on the planet) mixed with coffee? WTF? I’m not even going to try it. It sounds totally repulsive.

So with all these weird Cokes, why oh why oh why can’t they just make the one simple Coke variant I’d like - namely Coke Dry? Just regular Coke except with a whole load less corn syrup in it. If they want to pitch at the over 30s market, this is it. I reckon it’d be a hit.

I like the taste of Coke, but I do find it too sweet. Health concerns aside, it’s simply too sweet. I don’t want six gajillion teaspoons of sugar in each can.

Many moons ago (almost ten years, actually), I was a regular drinker of a cola/coffee beverage - Mystic (brand) Coffee Cola. It came in very large glass bottles (24 ounces or so) and had like 2-3 times the caffeine of either coffee or cola. I guess no one else remembers this, because I can’t even find it when I Google it.
