Usually, the local jobber sets up the special displays in addition to the more mundane tasks like stocking the shelves. I’ve never thought to ask if someone at Coca-Cola or Pepsi corporate generates the displays or if it’s up to the individual jobbers to have a bit of creativity.

Meh. It’s been 15 years. We should expect crass. Something like 20% of the US population wasn’t even born when the towers fell. A couple more decades and the majority of the population won’t have lived through it.

I expect Twin Towers bounce castles in 2040 at the outside.
