Okay, this is close to the right place to posting this question (and my best bet to not getting shouted down), so I’ll ask…
I’ve been out of the FPS mod creating scene since about, oh, 1998. So I’m not up to speed on a tiny number of technical issues. One of them is modding for the PC version of Call of Duty: Black Ops.
That is, is it possible to modify the weapons loadout for the single player levels? Just changing the default weapons carried by the player and enemies to other weapons already included in the game. I don’t even know if it’s possible at all, let alone what utilities I’d need or what files to edit.
Yeah, the anachronisms bugged me that much. So, can anyone fill me in, before I waste too much more time messing with it?
