I’ve been rather busy lately, and I’m sure none of y’all really care, but here are the highlights of the past few months.
Good Things[ul][li]My bathroom reconstruction is almost done. []When it is done, my washing machine (which is in the kitchen) will be moved to said bathroom.[]In the wide open gap beneath my furnace, a brand spankin’ new dishwasher shall be installed. And there was much rejoicing! No more dishes, evah! YAY.[]Shortly thereafter, the Scandinavian Gods IK and EA shall bestow upon me a completely supah fly wardrobe closet, and a lot of space saving shall occur at Casa Coldfire.[/ul][/li] Bad Things[ul][li]Aforementioned bathroom reconstruction took over a week longer than planned. When you get a call on your cell phone on the first day of construction, and the message is “Uh, mr Coldfire? Instead of sealing up the two doors as planned, we have to knock down and replace the entire wall, as it’s too weak and old”, you KNOW you’re in for a treat.[]The financial consequences of the point above…[]I have to assemble the aforementioned wardrobe closet myself, which, in IK and EA tradition, shall be HELL.[]This morning, while I got into my car, I found out that some ASSHAT has put a nice 40 centimeter scratch on the hood of my car. Looks very deliberate, and very thorough - right down to the metal. That’s at least another 400 Euros right there, and it’s not like I haven’t been spending anything lately. :eek:[*]I miss my girlfriend (Hi Heloise!) like crazy, and it’s looking like we won’t be able to see each other for the Holidays. And that really bums me out.[/ul][/li]
So, some good, some bad, and all of it mundane, in the larger scheme of things.
Just heard that an English friend of mine in Dublin, who has an Alfa and an MGB, had “Fuck” sprayed onto one, and “Wanker” sprayed on the other last night. What is it with Northern Europeans and vandalism?
jjimm, anybody driving an MGB is a wanker, and rightly dseserves his car sprayed with graffiti.

Oh, the dirty mouths in MPSIMS today! I think Coldie has lost his mind. I’m sure he won’t mind if I just abscond with his Rush collection while he’s out of his mind, do you?
