Possibly one of the greatest rally drivers of all time; it’s always a tragedy when young people lose their lives. My heart goes out to his wife and daughter. RIP
I’m heartbroken. I’ve watched Rally since I was a kid, and Colin inspired the AWD Scooby in the driveway. But God he had a fun life, didn’t he?

It’s been hard to follow WRC since Speed stopped carrying it, but I still consider myself a fan. What a shocker.

Very sad. I remember being glued to the TV during the 1995 British Rally with the championship to be decided between him and Carlos Sainz and cheering when he crossed the line on the last stage with a faster time.
It’s a sad week, apparently. First Colin McRae, now Robert Jordan. Who’s next?
The hearts of the entire rally community go out to his family. Colin was an awesome guy.
