I have absolutely no love for the Crimson Tide, but they certainly got jobbed on a missed DPI in the end zone. May have cost them the game.
Combined with the missed Face Mask (where the runner had the helmet PULLED OFF!) I certainly think it did cost them a legit shot at the win.
Well, NCAA is set to expand to a 24-team playoff.

Recall the days of yore when the argument was that a lengthy playoff season would detract from student-athlete’s academic opportunities, hence everyone got one bowl game, and that was that?
Yeah. Seems like a quaint era from ages ago now.
Go on the record before the game, but ND must beat BYU on the road. It won’t be easy, but also shouldn’t be hard.
Go Irish! ![]()
Indiana fought hard, but on fourth down, down by 4 against Ohio State,we got it into the end zone but our receiver was out of bounds.
The winning streak ends at 22.
Texas becomes the first team ranked #1 to enter a 2 game stretch against unranked opponents and lose both games.
Frauds, all of us. Year after year.
And another #1 loses to an unranked team.
What a day for SEC upsets. Bama about to lose to Tennessee, too.
A bit misleading as Florida was ranked in the top ten 3 weeks ago. [Go Gators]
Go Cougs! ![]()
Good luck!
I went to BYU at ND awhile back and the Cougar fans were super nice and classy. It was blistering cold, but a good game.
But nonetheless 100% true.
Notre Dame beating themselves so far.
Has anybody ever seen a “Fumble-Spike” before??
I mean, I get it, but that is pretty much Lawyer Ball right there.
Huh? He fumbled the ball in the act of spiking it.
What is “lawyer ball” about this?
Brutal first half by the Irish. Getting our ass kicked. This feels like a first one to 40 kinda game.
Miami is also losing now, which would make SEVEN top 10 losers today.
Herbie pointed out that it will be the first time 5 of the top 8 have lost.
