I wanted to take a moment and get the college football season going in the right way.

What does the N on the Nebraska Helmet stand for?

Knowledge. hehe

I really think my Wolverines and a good chance for another title this year. Especially with the rest of the Big Ten looking pretty weak. There is a deffinate chance for an undefeated regular season, which means one loss by Nebraska or FSU and were in the Championship game, woohoo.

My other prediction is that I think this year the Mountain West conference makes some serious waves. As long as they don’t beat the hell out of each other I think a MWC team may make it into the coalition.

My office mate is a Penn State alum. Signs all over the place. His screen saver is Happy Valley. He even has a nittany lion tattooed on his upper arm.

I’m bringing a bag to work tomorrow so he can hide his head in shame.

I can’t really say too much; my team (LSU) hasn’t had a good season in quite a while (thank goodness for baseball season, though!).

I predict that the Minnesota Gophers are going to go 2-alot.

I predict that St. John’s is going to go alot-2 (goooo, Johnnies!!). (And I’m not even Catholic. :))

Hey wolfman, as a still-loyal Buckeye, I wish nothing but ill on you and your kind! :slight_smile: I don’t know your schedule at that school up north, but I find it VERY hard to believe that Wisconsin, MSU, and Purdue will all lose to UM. After all, you’re the school that lost to Northwestern. Twice. In a row. :smiley:

I think it’s terrible the way people are criticizing Paterno over an 0-2 start. He deserves a lot more of the benefit of the doubt than he’s getting.

Wow–me five. Who would have thought there were so many Penn Staters on this board?

My aunt and uncle were at the Toledo game. Apparently the Lions were so bad they were booed at halftime. I can’t remember that ever happening before. What’s next? At least we didn’t schedule Akron this year.

I would still be a Steelers fan, but I’ve been over here so long now that I have no idea who’s playing for them anymore.
