Why do more people prefer certan colors, such as blue, over beige? I wonder is there a reason so many people love color blue, or other Coles such as green, red, but then other colors or shades of colors are less popular or even repulsive shades of colors?
Can you give examples of colors you think are less popular or repulsive?

Examples are I guess beige, dark charcoal, that green shade some hospitals use, chartreusse, olive brownish green, salmon
I don’t know what causes it but there are definitely more popular favorite colors (blue is by far the most popular favorite color). Perhaps because of the sky and water? Green is another popular favorite color, and the Earth is covered in green. However, purple is also very popular and is a relatively rare color but does appear in lots of flowers.
