That video was very moving. The anxiety that guy had was just really hard to watch.

My sister (in law) was thinking about joining the armed services, but was afraid to due to this discriminatory policy. Now she will be able to serve if she wants to, without having to pretend to be something she isn’t.

Sweetheart I’m so gay that construction workers break out into musical numbers when I walk past.

My own motto is: “Ask. Tell.” Glad the military is finally following my example.

Yay! No more women in prison movies because now we’ve got Barracks Babes, Foxy Fox Holes, The Dyke Division, Lipstick Lieutenants…oh, the list goes on…

I wonder when or if the military will ask, and start keeping numbers and statistics. Should be interesting.

His dad didn’t exactly sound surprised. Obviously we’re only seeing one side of the conversation, but I get the distinct impression that his father has known for years, but has been operating under his own version of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”.

But this young man is not fit to be a Boy Scout leader.
