Have you had the experience of one thing bringing you to a show, but once you started watching, you began appreciating another aspect?
For me, the new “Hawaii 5-0” was a case of “come for Grace Park, stay for the police work.”

Funny you should mention Grace Park. I think part of why I came to Battlestar Galactica was Grace Park. I stayed for the this-is-the-fracking-best-gods-damn-thing-on-tv-there-has-ever-been
I was drawn to Herman’s Head solely for the novelty of Yeardley Smith taking on her first serious live-action role ever (and I didn’t even know about Hank Azaria). Pleasantly surprised when this turned into a well-written sleeper hit with the quirky concept pulled off seamlessly.
And Heddy Newman. Best ditzy, snarky, conniving bloodsucker since Kelly Bundy.
Big Bang: Come for Johnny Galecki, stay for Jim Parsons.
I wouldn’t mind coming for Grace Park. Wait, did I say that out loud?
