The musicals Come From Away and Waitress have arrived in London’s West End from Broadway. My wife and I are considering booking tickets for them. Has anybody seen either musical, and would you recommend either one?
We saw Waitress on Broadway in August and thought it was great. Our kids loved and and couldn’t stop playing the music for months afterward.

Come From Away is a show everyone should see, if only for the historical event it portrays. And, of yes, it is good.
I was worried about Come From Away (too soon and all that) but it was a lovely, heartwarming show – the songs are good, the actors play multiple characters but are amazing at transformations. Five stars; would see again.
Waitress was much better than the movie. I didn’t have any sympathy for the waitress character in the movie, but the stage show does a better job making her a more sympathetic character.
I haven’t seen either however, people I know who’ve seen Come From Away rave about it and I really enjoy the music from Waitress.
I loved the movie Waitress and the musical is good, too.
