I joined the New York assassin game. I just got a fantastic new job, so I’m probably going to be ponying up the money to become a full member of CC, so I’ll be able to join all the other games as well!

I have to say I’ve gotten a little frustrated with Conquer Club recently. I think I joined about 5 games over the course of 2 days, and I was eliminated fairly quickly in all of them because I had absolutely no luck with dice in any of them. And yet I keep playing. Sigh, I’m an addict.
Really? I’ve only played three games, all with fellow dopers, and I’ve won two of them so far. (Of course now I will lose my current game hehe).
I suppose I’ve just had bad luck with dice as well as bad luck with the people I’ve played with. In a couple recent non-Doper games I’ve played with idiots who, given the option of a) crippling me, somebody who is doing moderately well but in no shape to win at the moment, or b) crippling somebody else who has the best position in the game at the moment and will win unless something is done, and both outcomes will give them approximately the same position, they choose to attack me. Then the person from B goes on to win the game. :smack:
