Comedies You Thought Sucked, But Did Have One Hilarious Scene

The Jim Varney/Lily Tomlin remake of The Beverly Hillbillies was one of the most laugh free and pointless movies ever, but I laughed when Miss Jane (Tomlin) hired a detective said to be “expensive but the best in the business”- Barnaby Jones (a cameo by Buddy Ebsen).

My favorite part was the scheming gold digger saying, in a thick (fake) French accent, “Happiness is hard to find,” and Jim Varney misunderstanding her.

Come to think of it, I thought Dracula: Dead and Loving It was awful, but given how many different scenes people have brought up, it might just be worth watching again!

Another one that came to mind was the first “Austin Powers” movie, which I honestly thought was boring and self-indulgent.

But the scene of Dr. Evil and Scott Evil in group therapy had me laughing myself sick.
