it has come to my attention the last few weeks that many of our fellow dopers are dealing with their first holiday season without a loved one. i hope and pray that those of you going through this season with empty chairs will find comfort in the memories of your loved one, from seasons past. that you will tell stories and share memories with those who are left so that the memory of your loved one will live on. the first one is always the hardest.
to jester: it is so soon. i hope you can remember good times with your cousin.
to dawson’s family: i hope you can remember the joy and light in dawson’s face. his face shines in the website you constructed.
to wally’s family: may you remember him assembling toys, and hanging lights. i’m sure there is many a story there.
to silent bob: may you remember the beauty of your grandmother’s face in candlelight, not hospital light.
