Merry Christmas to Someone You Won't See.

I want to say Merry Christmas for my father that passed away two years ago. Wish you were here. It’s not the same without you. Remembering is not the same as you being here.

I hope to see you soon Sue.

To all the friends that have moved away, Merry Christmas. I hope we meet again someday.

There are quite a few people I won’t be with for Christmas. I hope they all have a great time and know I am thinking of them.

In fact there is only really one person in Washington that I am with for the holidays.

All the others are in other states. But even though my body may be in Washington my mind and heart are with every one of them as they have their own holiday celebrations.

Everybody got their Black and Decker… Blood and Fettuccini everywhere

BurnMeUp - your sig line has me rolling on the floor. With my stoopid dawg. Thanks!

And Merry Christmas from Iowa to my three sons, daughter-in-law, mom, brother and old friends in Washington.

We keep talking about doing Christmas during my summer visits – maybe next year.

Merry Christmas to mom and dad who arent here with me once again this year. I miss you dearly and think of you always.

Also, to my brother for being a wonderful brother and to my special friends who make life an adventure every day, you dont need to be named, you know who you are. Keep smiling!

A true friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out…there are Angels among us

Both of my parents have died, but that doesn’t mean they’re gone. Remembering doesn’t have to hurt or feel empty. If you remember, they live on.
It isn’t the same, but that isn’t wrong. It’s possible to remember with with joy and gratitude–and forgiveness–and go on. Accept what was good, forgive what was wrong and go on.
Not to make light of grief–but it’s part of life and it is what you make of it.

Warm memory, kindness and hope,
Veb

Merry Christmas to my sister, happily in the convent. I’m glad she’s where she wants to be, but it sure is a drag at the holidays.

And to Patty and Gail, wherever you are.

Happy Holidays Sweetness! I am with you in spirit if not in person. I love and miss you.

I really try to be good but it just isn’t in my nature!

There are a few people that I would like to see at Christmas but as they live in different parts of the world, I’ll have to be content with letting them know via cards and letters how much I’d like to see them. Happy holidays!

Some drink at the fountain of knowledge…others just gargle.

Since I’m in Memphis for the holidays, I won’t see anyone but my parents for the holidays. So…merry christmas to all my friends: those I’ve met, those I haven’t, and those I’ve lost touch with.

“Jesus Mary Joseph…you’re a biker chick!” - co-worker, upon hearing of my tattoo.

Phobia – thank you for posting about your father. I’d like to borrow your idea and post the following:

I’d like to wish a Merry Christmas to my brother… I miss ya buddy. I bought something you surely would have liked and then gave it to Toys for Tots. Because as some child plays with it (a radio controlled car) you can be playing with it in spirt. Okay, gonna just let the eyes leak for a while…

Well, I wont be seeing my brother for christmas since he’s out in Cannon AFB. I did get to talk to him tonight. He also caught Mono, so I hope he gets well!

Merry Christmas to all the family back in LA. I am exiled in the Midwest, where it is cold and snowy. (Which, if you ask me, is a nasty, crappy way to have a Christmas - snow. Ugh. Unnatural to have snow during Christmas. It’s supposed to be warm and sunny, with palm trees! ;))

I also have to work on Christmas. It’ll suck. Christmas hasn’t been the same since my dad died. Well, I have bummed everyone out enough…
Sorry. It’ll be better. I have much to be grateful for, I still have my mom, and she and my sister will have a psuedo-Christmas on my next day off.

Merry Christmas to everyone.
