Comic Book Fans: Do they use the Internet?

Obviously, all of us on the Dope do.

But what about the rest of them? I would assume that they’re likely to be Internet-oriented people.

As for us: what speed connection do you have?

I’ve got cable at home and a… well, I don’t know what I have at work, but it’s pretty dang fast.

Comic book fans? On the internet?!?

Nah.

Well, somebody is posting on the Weekly Comic Book Discussion threads in Cafe Society.

Let’s see. Everyone knows that comic book fans are pathetic losers who can’t get a date. Yeah, I’d say that they’re prime candidates for using the 'net. Heck, they probably go around using pseudonyms like BruceWayne or PParker.

Generally speaking, we comics fans fit a few minutes of internet time in between our baseball practice and our dating Colombian supermodels.

Say, you!

There are a ton and a half of comics sites on the web, so yeah, we’re pretty common on the 'Net.

Not only are there a ton and a half comics sites on the web, I’ll bet every major site has at least one article discussing the impact of the web on the industry, fandom, and/or the future of the form of the medium. Corrected link.

Let’s not forget, oh, Usenet – that rec.arts.comics.* hierarchy has got to be good for something…

Well played.

So cool!
