Comic Book Guy has a name!!!

I was in Vatican City two weeks ago…does that count?

I tend to listen to tv while I’m on the computer, so I don’t always catch everything, but I can generally follow the plot of a show. At one point, I thought there were actually two seperate episodes and somehow, I missed the end of the first one. I was very confused. The A and B plots usually at least make sense together–or seem like they’re part of the same episode.

Not recently they haven’t.

Terrible episode, as usual. It could have been good if they’d done an episode based on Ned’s passion play movie and public reaction to it, but instead they had to pack in celebrities. So why do I keep watching? Habit, I guess.

I did get a laugh out of the headline that spun toward the screen during the Cain and Abel movie: “Stem Cells Cure Alzheimer’s!”

… can’t … breath … too much … hilarity …

I was kind of disappointed they just threw it out there without any joke or fuss. I mean, the name wasn’t funny, there was no reason everyone would call him Comic Book Guy, and it was over immediately. If they’re going to rob us of a perfectly good gag, they could at least make a gag out of it.

Like a friend of mine said the other day, “Jump the Shark” jumped the shark about a year ago.

Your friend’s a bit late, I’m afraid… pointing out that the phrase “jump the shark” has jumped the shark jumped the shark back in about 2002.

Do you think you could say the phrase “jump the shark” once more in that sentence?

While you where there, a random poll would have about a one in 3000 chance of finding you.

Wost episode ever.
