Comment on things available/not available at a store that baffle you

They sell plenty of 3rd party accessories. I assume no reputable saw chain manufacturer would provide products in their price/profit margin range, and saw chains are available at reasonable prices from other retailers.

I see that they also sell a chain replacement for the Portland 18" chain saw they carry. It’s not available in stores though, must be ordered. The saw is made by Oregon Tool, a major chain saw and saw chain supplier, and replacement chains are available at many hardware and tool outlets.

Good for you. This deserves a congratulations. :tada:

I’ve had that same problem (not so much now that I’ve lost some weight). I once walked into a men’s clothing department and after looking around for a while finally walked up to a clerk and asked, rather loudly, “Where do you keep your fat-ass pants?”

I finally found Martin’s Big & Tall, which carried full-cut pants with a wider range of waist and inseam combinations. I also shopped at Habands online, which also offered pants with large waists and short inseams. Unfortunately, they seem to have gone out of business, or at least greatly limited their online presence.

I did recently have to shorten some casual pants, and found that Gorilla Fabric Glue works nicely in lieu of sewing up hems.
