The History Channel ads. It seems like the damn channel has four ads a day and they repeat them OVER and OVER and OVER!
That Subway commercial with the “nice and spicy” girl with the abnormally long neck. I saw it at least ten times last night.
Any commercial with the stereotypical “goofy guy.”
The Cedric the Entertainer Show had a hysterical sketch on the Herbal Essence commercials. It was “Herbal Essence: For Men” and showed the guy making all the usual “guy faces”, then sound asleep in the shower.
I’m not sure if you get all of the same ads as I am in Canada but here goes:
I hate the Mazda ‘zoom zoom’ kid … it sounded like Zub Zub to me when I first saw it and made no sense to me. So now I call him zub zub.
I also dislike the Honda commercial with a rap song which is along the lines of ‘calling all my brothers from the north and south’ etc. The song is okay but they show a bunch of Hondas driving at night with all kinds of aftermarket accessories that I despise (such as the purple lights under the car and the really big and ugly rear wings).
I hate all feminine hygience commercials that use pretty blue ink to make their point about absorbency (if they were to use red ink I could respect them more).
And I have yet to turn to any female friends (except for in jest) and say ‘Sometimes I don’t feel fresh’
And ditto to all those Old Navy ads … what’s up with Morgan Fairchild? Is she bankrupt or something? That’s the only excuse I can see to be in those ads.
