Comming Soon...

…the same old thing that was here before.

Close to where I work there was a Taco Bell. It was always very busy. One day I drove past and it was closed. I was a little surprised and figured maybe some of those “roach in the taco bell” UL’s were actually true. A few days later I noticed that the whole building was bulldozed to the ground. The next day I drove by and there was a big new sign stating “Comming Soon… Taco Bell.”

I just don’t get it. It was a very busy store. There is no room in this location to make it any bigger (unless they plan to make it two stories tall). It seems like they would have to sell a whole lot of $0.69 tacos to pay for the $200,000 building.

Can someone with some insight give me a clue?

The building is probably being moved to the other side of the lot in order to make drive thru access easier. That’s what was done to the taco bell near me. The exterior of the building also received a makeover.

Or they want to make it accessible.

“‘How do you know I’m mad’ said Alice.
'You must be, ’ said the Cat, ‘or you wouldn’t have come here.’”

Same thing happened by me, except that the Taco Bell(yache) moved across the street. I assumed it was because of easier access.

I assumed they did their homework, considering the expense of bulldozing the building to the ground and rebuilding.

Location, location, location.

Of course they could have saved a lot of money putting it in the right place the first time!
