'Community' 12/8/11-- "Regional Holiday Music"

If this the final episode of “Community,” then the show has ended in a flourish. This show was delightful from stem to stern.

And I am totally willing to occupy something for it’s return. I’d suggest taking a 30 ROCK cast member hostage, except that would just give some exec a Tropic Thunder idea. (Last year and the one before that I was sort of “meh” about 30 ROCK returning, this year I’m irate; Tina, you had a good run, don’t let your show be one of those spooks from American Horror Story who won’t admit they’re dead.)

Anybody watch last night’s replay of last season’s stop-motion Christmas special? It’s fun to watch (or just listen) and picture in your mind the reality that they are all just sitting around the table in the study room, playing along with Abed’s delusion. And when Ballerannie and Little Drummer Troy unhitch the train cars so that Duncan can’t destroy Abed’s delusion, the two of them are forcibly carrying Duncan out of the room. Then Pierce walks in to find Abed alone and he has to guess what’s happening: “So, Christmas train still?”

I love this show so much.

Yeah, I would have loved if they’d done a web version that was just them all sitting at the table doing the reality of it. And you could play them side by side synched with the single audio track.

That would indeed have been awesome!

They should put this on the ultra limited edition Bluray. Just don’t let Annie step on it.

Did anyone catch the photos in GQ?

You mean those ones that are dated July 14th in your very link? Yes, I think it’s safe to say most people have seen them by now.
