I’m too old to even know that a GI Joe cartoon existed so none of the specifics could mean anything to me. Didn’t matter: the contrivances and cliches are universal in the comic world.
I liked it all except while thinking about it afterward, when I realized that the part of Community I like the least is Greendale. Every time they get away from Greendale the show perks up. Greendale has been beaten into the ground because it’s become too ironically phony to be a setting. The show might *improve *by entering a classroom once in a while and who would have thought that in the first season?
Destroy Greendale. There’s season six for you. And the movie.
This show was a letdown, and I was a big GI Joe fan, even before there were cartoons with toy tie-ins.
