I love the little sight gags that get put in here and there.
Loved the part where Annie comes in all agitated, and sits down with the group, furiously pushing the straw in and out of her drink with the plastic cap on top, all the while making the squeaky noises that result. After a few seconds, while she continues her rant, a hand comes from the side, takes the cup from underneath the straw, then a few seconds later, replaces the cup minus the squeaky lid under her straw, still moving furiously up and down.
I love that kind of stuff, and Community has a lot of it if you watch for it, especially in the background.
I’m surprised no one has figured out that the professor was played by Martin Starr, who was Bill on Freaks and Geeks.
Wasn’t he on Party Down?
I thought he was a member of Duran Duran.
Wasn’t he on a TV show about an alien with powers? With Lou Gosset, jr.?
That’s one of the best things about the show. And they’re often very subtle. There was that whole bit last year with Abed and the pregnant girl, and the entire thing was in the background.
You pretty much have to watch each episode twice to catch them all.

Were none of you part of a model UN in high school? It was totally unrealistic. Like a comedy show version of a debate.
The science was wrong, too.
This was my favorite part. 
All my school’s Model U.N. did was squabble and waste time.
