Fantasy Flight Games: Consistently high production value. If you’re buying something from FFG, you know you’re getting a quality product.
The coffee costs so much, that you will quickly pay them back tenfold as a continuing customer. (I drink enough coffee, that Keurig could purchase a small nation if I ever switched to them).
Hilton brand hotels. Even though some of their locations are franchises, I’ve never been completely let down with the stay. Mainly, they are dependably quiet. I’ve only twice in my dozens of stays been disturbed in my sleep, once I think it was because I checked in early and so ended up staying in a nonoptimal place, and the other time there was a car show across the street.
As opposed to places that are consistently bad in many different ways (Motel 6), varying quality (Choice brands), or screw you over on the food service bill (two different Ramadas. Plus one of the Ramadas was loud!)
:smack:
That debate has been hashed over (and over, and over) in other threads. Not here again please.
Seconding Aldi
Also, Birkenstock. I hate shoes. I Less than three my Sandals. I buy one pair of shoes about every 3-4 years, and those suckers last FOREVER.
Apple - had them since 1986 never had a problem ( hardware or software )
British Airways - I might get push back from UK Dopers but they always had excellent service for me.
LL Bean - great stuff, good prices, and excellent return policies. The store in Freeport is awesome.
You beat me to it. We’ve never had an issue with Sprint. Their customer service is outstanding, IMNSHO. My stepdaughter carries her phone in her back pocket and a couple of years ago, she had a model that cracked the screen when she sat down. She took in into a Sprint store to find out how much it would cost to repair and they replaced it with a better model at no charge.
You’re right about the cost. But they now sell empty cartridges and fill with whatever coffee you want. I just dump it out and rinse.
As for a company that deserves my loyalty is definitely Walmart. Groceries, housewares, clothes, auto parts…whatever I want, they sell.
Chase Bank: I don’t have them anymore since I moved out of their coverage area, but I had them since my first account at 18. Great customer service and one time I was ID thefted and they caught it (lord knows how honestly) texted me about it, then called me, and we figured it out right away
Panera: Someone mentioned this upthread too, and my story literally happened yesterday. We did an office lunch (80 dollar order) that we did online, but the order never went through. They apologized and then we re-ordered it over the phone, the cashier was helpful and the manager looked over her shoulder and every time an order was entered he ran to the kitchen to tell someone to make it. Out of there in 10 min.
I’m sure I have others, I’ll let you know when I think of them
Beaurepaires an Aussie tire sales company. Last time I bought tires there I took out insurance for $7 per tire. I have since destroyed one tire hitting a curb and developed 2 slow leaks from running over things, Despite me forgetting that I can get the repairs done for for nothing, they have reminded me each time.
Yep me too!
And last week I went to the movies with my son. We were hanging round waiting for the previous session to end. It was obviously running late. The young woman who was managing the cinema saw us there, apologized for the delay and gave us free tickets for a future sesssion.
Jeep. My first Jeep was a '99 Cherokee Sport. Drove it from 2-track trails in Michigan’s U.P. to the Smoky Mountains. It was a tank- could drive over or through just about anything. Hardly had to repair a thing on it until well over 100k miles. At around 230k it was still going strong but getting a little rusty so I reluctantly sold it to a nephew 2 years ago. I believe he’s still driving it.
Now I drive a Grand Cherokee. Not a single problem with it 2 years in. Drives like a Cadillac but still has off-road capability. Not that I do much off-roaring anymore, but the way Michigan roads are, I might as we’ll be

Zippo. Every lighter comes with a little slip of paper that says “It works or we fix it free.” They mean it. Almost too bad I don’t smoke anymore; I liked carrying one around. I mean, sure, I still could, but why?
Costco - Pricing, service, return policy
Google - great reliable products
Glock - never failed
Amazon - service and return policy
And (most) everything comes in talls

Costco

I find it’s always handy to have a lighter on you.
Kirby Vacuum Cleaners- My mom gave me her G4 (bought new in 1993) in 1998 when my parents built a new house with all hardwood flooring. I’ve used it for regularly for the last 16 years and it still cleans better than any new vacuum! Sure, it cost around $1400 new, but it was worth it.
And when/if the motor or other major component ever goes, Kirby has a ‘Rebuild’ Program to make it brand new again for under $400. =)
