I had heard vaguely good things about this movie that came out earlier this year and noticed it was on Max so I watched. It was good. It stars Jack Quaid and is about a weekend he and his girlfriend spend with a group of his friends. To say more would give too much away.
If you watch, try to avoid the Max description of the movie because it gives things away you aren’t supposed to know until like a third of the way in. Anyone else see it?
I saw it a few months ago in a theater - the poster out front gave away quite a bit but that didn’t really dampen my enjoyment. Very clever and wry, and if you aren’t bothered by murder mysteries this one travels some fresh territory.
If you want to be completely unspoiled, forget the description, don’t watch the trailer..

I thought it was OK, but not great.
I was disappointed, as I was with Novocatine, another Jack Quaid 2025 movie.
This hasn’t been a great early year for me with movies, to be honest. I have yet to rate a movie very high.
