Improve these lines!
One of the worst lyrics in any song must be this bit from “Life” by Des’ree:
“I don’t want to see a ghost
It’s the sight that I fear most
I’d rather have a piece of toast
(Watch the evening news)”
Some text poverty there. It’s been chosen as the number one worst lyrics several times, e.g.: BBC NEWS | Entertainment | Des'ree takes bad lyric top spot
The challenge is to come up with equally ridiculous lyrics.
Personally I’ve come up with these:
“I don’t want to see a ghoul
it’s a sight that makes me drool
rather sit down on a stool”
or
“I don’t want to see a clown
I would feel so very down
rather have a dressing gown”
