I’m trying to copy a home video DVD onto a CD for use on my computer. The DVD file is about 150MB too large to fit onto a CD. Is there a way to compress these files?
You could convert it to DiVX format. This page will give you a lot of very useful information.
dvdshrink works well for making movies only take up a few gigs. I don’t know if its available for free or not but if you want i’ll send it to you, its really easy to use.
DVDshrink is for backing up DVD’s. It will do nothing for a normal media file.
