When I turned on my computer this morning, my start up sequence was extremely slow, and my firewall did not load. I logged in as another user, and it loaded just fine (I run XP, btw). I logged off and restarted, and again under my user ID the firewall does not load. I tried to load from the program listing itself, but the screen says it is disabled, and the button to enable is grey-ed out. I pulled up task monitor, and it shows that IAMAPP under my user id is using 98% of the cpu, and the cpu is running at total capacity. the program for other users shows zero percent. I closed the program from the task monitor then restarted the machine, and the same thing happened again. Can anyone help me?
Have you tried uninstalling & reinstalling the firewall program?
