computer passwords question

I have several online website passwords remembered by Firefox so I don’t need to type in the password to sign in. I’m going to have visitors, and would like to remove the password memory. How do I do that?

Also, I changed my Ebay password during the news event about the lapse in Ebay security, and haven’t been able to sign in without typing the changed password over the ******* which contains the old password. How do I update the Ebay password with Firefox, so I don’t have to type it?

The official support page for deleting and changing saved passwords:

I like BleachBit which has options for not only deleting passwords, but also cache, cookies, recently used file (lists) and more. From all browsers and other programs. It’s free.

Why not set up a guest account for your guests? That way they can’t mess with your digital stuff.

Yeah, this is the way to go. Windows and Mac both have this built in, and it leaves all your stuff untouched and lets your visitor use or keep their own set of browser tabs, windows, bookmarks, etc.

After they leave, you can delete their account or just leave it inactive for the next time they come. It takes only minimal space on your computer for this.

Another option is to hide the Chrome icon and leave a Firefox icon on your desktop. It might just keep them from using Chrome altogether. Of course, the difference is between you just not wanting them accidentally logging into your account for convenience and you really not wanting them seeing what you bought.
